Beautiful lines in the photograph and in the car. This car came out when I was a young boy and I remember making a small model of it (in red). Thanks for the image.

Artist's Description

The 1956 model of the T-bird car had some upgrades including more trunk space, moving the spare wheel outside to free up additional trunk space, relocating the exhausts to the ends of the bumper, and adding air vents behind the front wheels to enhance the cabin ventilation. To improve visibility at the back with the removable hardtop in place, "porthole" windows became available as a no-cost option. For those who wanted more performance, an optional 312 Y-block V8 engine was made available. The 1956 production saw a total of 15,631 units.

I have a great fondness for mid-century art design, particularly the cars of the 50s. My portfolio features two other T-bird images that could make a great statement piece as a triptych. This would be perfect for a man cave!

SECOND PLACE in the COOL VINTAGE LATE MODEL CARS contest 6/2020.

About Jenny Revitz Soper

Jenny Revitz Soper

I've returned to my roots in Kansas after spending 45 years in Los Angeles. My passion for photography has always been an essential part of me, and I never leave home without my camera. I strive to capture the extraordinary in the ordinary, using clever juxtapositions, contradictions, bursts of color, and touches of whimsy. My photography is a true expression of how I perceive the world, staying authentic and genuine to myself. I believe it is the artist's vision that produces art, and I appreciate every method and technique utilized to achieve that vision. Occasionally, I use digital applications and artificial intelligence to produce my final vision. If you're interested in owning my art, FAA offers multiple ways to enjoy it, including...
