Description
My parents, married in 1949, planted this tree in their front yard in Independence Kansas for their 50th wedding anniversary. Today, it stands tall and proud, as they were. It is host to moss and lichen, birds, and other wonders. The roots are deep and strong. The air under it smells sweet. Lie on your back and watch the clouds and branches dance.
