Artist's Description

At a cost of $1.25 million, the new Pantages Theatre in Hollywood, California, USA was clearly state of the art when it opened in 1930. The hydraulic lift that raised and lowered the orchestra pit and musicians was so powerful, it could do the same with an average bungalow. The stage, at 10,000 square feet could practically accommodate a baseball game. And the lights that illuminated the stage were said to be enough to illuminate the entire length of Hollywood Boulevard.

This image won SECOND PLACE in the EXPOSAVAGANZA - ANY THEME - MEDIA GOES - 45 juried contest 5/12/2019.

It's important to me and it's a foundational part of who I am. Through my photography, I stay true to myself and convey my authentic self. It is the vision of the artist that produces the art. I appreciate every method and technique an artist uses to achieve that vision. I sometimes use digital applications as well as...
