For those who live or drive near the 405 and 101 freeways in Los Angeles (and for those who used to), this mansion situated on top of this hill in the Sepulveda Pass is a familiar sight. The mansion is surrounded by palm trees and has a perfect view of the San Fernando Valley. This is one of the only visible homes in the area, and many of us who are stuck in traffic during our morning commute gaze at it in awe.
I've returned to my roots in Kansas after spending 45 years in Los Angeles. My passion for photography has always been an essential part of me, and I never leave home without my camera. I strive to capture the extraordinary in the ordinary, using clever juxtapositions, contradictions, bursts of color, and touches of whimsy. Nicely done Jenny. I know that area well. Some fantastic homes there. The idea of sitting in that traffic you mentioned is what drove me out of the L.A. area. I do miss the old SF Valley and Santa Monica area though. So much to do and so many places to go!
