Description
She didn't like knee socks. Whenever her mother wanted her to wear them, she would push them down. She had her own ideas of things. She loved her grandmother's house because it had a big brass bowl full of family photographs that she loved to look at when she visited. Granddaddy was the editor and photographer of the Daily Reporter in town. She thought everything was just grand. Except for knee socks.
Taken by Granddaddy Sands in Independence Kansas, 1959 with his Rolleicord and manipulated by me in 2016.
