Description
When I take a photo, sometimes I am uncertain about what to do with it. One such photo was of a palm tree I took while waiting for the bus in Westwood, near UCLA. The street was lined with trees, including many palms. I played around with the image and created an incredible piece. I love the feeling of this solitary yet confident tree. It stands there proudly, emerging from nothing. I have framed this photo in my home, and it looks amazing.
I also have a black-and-white version of this photo in my black-and-white gallery.

Good Sunday morning to a terrific young lady, in some of your images, such as this one, you tell a lovely, beautiful story. There's a big difference between a photo or artwork that is just postcard pretty on the one hand, and the one tells a dramatic, beautiful story on the other. You make the world a lovelier place for us all through your inimitable art, my dear Jenny. Keep it up.

Jenny...This is gorgeous and you handled the effects so well! The composition and colors couldn't be better. (I know what you mean about sometimes feeling you need to take a photo and not knowing why ... then later finding it to be the perfect complement, layer, background, etc. It's a nice feeling. l/f
