Description
I took this photo after a reported fire at the park, which scorched the brush and shrubs, started by a juvenile. The fire grew to 1.5 acres before it was extinguished. There were no injuries reported and no structures were threatened. Two super scoopers and two helicopters were called out to aid in the fire. The fire was moving in 10 mph winds. Officials with the Forest Service were on scene, as well as Fire Department officials. Ironically, there is a water tower between where the fire burned and the nearest houses.
