Bandon by the Sea is a beautiful place known for its stunning driftwood beaches and delicious candy stores. However, there is also a darker side to this place. A sea cave can be found on the beachfront of Bandon, where some people have claimed to hear a female voice singing a Gaelic lullaby. It is believed that the woman is a ghost singing to her child who was lost in the cave while playing. Sadly, the child was trapped by the incoming tide and drowned. Local ghost hunters suggest that the best time to hear the woman singing is just after the high tide has reached its peak and the water is receding from the cave.
