On Maundy Thursday (the Lord's Supper or Last Supper), a sufficient number of hosts (the bread) are consecrated for the faithful to receive Communion both at that service and on the next day, Good Friday. The hosts intended for the Good Friday service are left on the altar, while the priest says the post communion prayer. They are then carried in solemn procession to a place of reservation somewhere in the church or in an appropriately adorned chapel; the alter of repose. The priest uses a humeral veil while carrying them to that place. At the end of Maundy Thursday service, all altars, except the one used as the altar of repose, are stripped. The Blessed Sacrament remains in that temporary place until the Holy Communion part of the Good Friday liturgical service.
The altar is decorated with candles and flowers. Members of the congregation participate in a watch or vigil at the altar of repose from the conclusion of the Maundy Thursday service to noon on Good Friday.

Love this and your sharing. Episcopal church really taught me a lot about Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. There is so much to learn about God's steadfast love for us and I dont mean the why. His love and teachings are such a bulleark in the stirms of life. Thanks for taking this pic and explaining the watch service .
