Description
The Ford Thunderbird's first generation is a two-seat convertible that Ford produced from 1955 to 1957. The Thunderbird was Ford's first 2-seat car since 1938 and was created in response to the 1953 Motorama display at the New York Auto Show that showcased the Chevrolet Corvette. Ford invented a new market segment with the Thunderbird, the personal luxury car. Although a lightweight car with a large V8 engine, the Thunderbird focused more on driver comfort than speed.
I cannot resist mid-century art design, especially as seen in the cars of the 50s. I have two other T-bird images in my portfolio that would make a great statement piece as a triptych. It would be perfect for a man cave!
