Artist's Description
The need for the amplified guitar became apparent during the big band era as orchestras increased in size, particularly when guitars had to compete with large brass sections.
Fender makes over a quarter of a million guitars a yer, the largest manufacturer of electric guitars in the world. The Fender factory makes around 90,000 strings per day. This is over 20,000 miles a year, enough to circle the world. They also make around 950 guitar necks a day!

About Jenny Revitz Soper
I've returned to my roots in Kansas after spending 45 years in Los Angeles. My passion for photography has always been an essential part of me, and I never leave home without my camera. I strive to capture the extraordinary in the ordinary, using clever juxtapositions, contradictions, bursts of color, and touches of whimsy. My photography is a true expression of how I perceive the world, staying authentic and genuine to myself. I believe it is the artist's vision that produces art, and I appreciate every method and technique utilized to achieve that vision. Occasionally, I use digital applications and artificial intelligence to produce my final vision. If you're interested in owning my art, FAA offers multiple ways to enjoy it, including...
