Description
These silos sit alone along the abandoned railroad tracks next to the lot on which the train station was situated until recently in Independence Kansas. Such a lonely feeling there. Beauty in a strange place.
Update: Visiting Independence in the winter of 2016-2017, I noted this silo has been replaced by a modern updated version. My photograph is now preserving its historic presence.

Such dramatic tones - they go very well with the industrial feel of the subject and the perspective.
